About Mrs. Aly, Marion Counties certified ISR instructor

Hello! Thank you for your interest in ISR! My name is Aly Cassidy and I have been teaching ISR lessons in Marion County for over 5 years. I am originally from Orlando, Florida, and moved to Gainesville while attending UF. After graduation in 2010, I moved to Ocala. I met my husband, Brian, here in Ocala and we got married in 2013. Brian is a Battalion Chief for Marion County Fire Rescue. We have 3 children: Declan-8, Paisley-7, and Dalton-4 years old. All of our children have gone through ISR lessons (Declan and Paisley from before I became certified), so I'm very familiar with ISR from the parent perspective as well! Prior to becoming an ISR instructor I was an elementary teacher for Marion County in the classroom.

For over 5 years now I have worked with several hundred children in and around Marion County. I truly consider this job (it's even hard to call it that) such a blessing! I absolutely love what I do and really enjoying meeting so many amazing kiddos and families. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. I also welcome observation lessons if you are looking to understand the lessons a bit more...just ask!

FAQs
Do you travel to individuals homes and teach lessons?
At this time, no. The best way for me to accommodate as many families as possible is to have families come to my location.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes! At this time Im happy to offer first responders (police, fire, EMT), military (active duty and retired), and teachers a 10% discount!
Do you teach other lessons other than ISR?
No, at this time I only offer ISR structured lessons. I do not teach strokes or any time of lesson "beyond" ISR skills. There are swim teams offered at the FAST facility and at Jervey Gantt but I am not affiliated with either organization so you will have to reach out to them directly.
I don't see any spots available on your scheduling website. Does this mean you aren't taking students right now?
Not necessarily. Due to the high demand in my area I have my schedule currently closed off for parents to book on their own, instead I have been keeping an official waitlist on that website and reaching out to people in the order they signed up to fill spots. I generally teach from February-November and fit in as many families as my schedule allows. If you are interested in lessons the BEST thing to do is go on my scheduling website and signup on my waitlist.
